Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie star in The Tourist. From the trailer it appears to be a more serious version of Knight and Day, only with the roles switched as the woman is the spy and the man knows nothing.
After seeing Depp in so many character-based roles, like Mad Hatter and Jack Sparrow, it will be interesting to see him in a genre-based movie like this. Depp in an action-thriller? It’s been a while.
The trailer does seem rather flat though, pointing out all the exciting parts like a romantic comedy points out all the heartfelt scenes. Give it a watch and see if it interests you.
