Soul Surfer

Moving and cheesy, "Soul Surfer" still delivers an important message. Made for people who like Hallmark cards, the Lifetime network, and one-armed Christians.

Rated PG for an intense accident sequence (no it isn't) and some thematic material.

Although a bit lightweight and cheesy in spots, “Soul Surfer” actually overcame my reluctance with its earnestness.
